Us

IVDS is a civil society organization, created in 2000. Our teams have management and technical skills appropriate to each type of project, always in conjunction with our partners, adopting principles of environmental and social responsibility, based on a circular economy.

At the time it used the name IVVDS, IVDS carried out a project in the Federal District, with support from the British embassy and focused on waste and recycling management based on sustainable principles, eith local community.

IVDS supported and carried out projects in the Amazon region, with special attention to the Municipalities of Manaus, Presidente Figueiredo and Silves, with a focus on promoting the sustainable development of local communities.

We provide technical support and advice to the municipality of Trindade, GO, in the socio-environmental diagnosis of Lara Guimaraes Municipal Park dams, as well as environmental education actions and biodiversity studies in the region of Chapada dos Veadeiros, municipality of Alto Paraiso, GO. 

IVDS is not limited to operating in Brazil and since 2023 IVDS has been carrying out technical visits aiming to carry out partnerships and projects focused on sustainable rural development in Côte d'Ivoire, Africa.

In addition to its headquarters in Brasília-DF, the Institute has an office in Amazonas, more precisely in Manaus-AM and will in the future set up offices in other locations in the country.
